Ciara C. Reardon is the Vice President, Finance for Global Shares, based in our headquarters in West Cork. Ciara is responsible for establishing and running all financial aspects of the business.

Ciara has gained a number of years experience in leading finance roles across the globe. Before joining Global Shares in April 2007, Ciara worked as Group Financial Controller with DPS, a Professional Services Engineering business in Cork, operating in the pharmaceutical sector in Ireland and across Europe.

Ciara lived in Australia for four years and while there accelerated her career by taking on the senior role of Group Financial Controller with Alphwest, an Australasian IT Professional Services firm

from 2002 to 2006. During her tenure she ran a large finance team while also managing a number of significant corporate transactions for the company including a management buy-out, a company wide restructure, four acquisitions, a public listing and a subsequent off market takeover.

Ciara originally began her career with Arthur Andersen, Dublin and worked as an Audit Senior in their Audit and Business Advisory department from 1998 to 2002. In that time she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Ciara graduated, with honours from both NUI, Galway in 1997 in her Bachelor of Commerce and from Michael Smurfit Business School, NUI Dublin in 1998 in her Masters of Accounting.
