Navneet Govil is the Controller of Microelectronics Group at Sun Microsystems, where he leads a staff responsible for providing overall business and financial management support, including ensuring strong financial analysis of major R&D investments, structuring sales of Sun technology to OEM partners, and providing financial input to the long term portfolio planning for the group.

Navneet's experience encompasses business partnering, fiduciary compliance, operational efficiency, systems implementation, and financial management at Pfizer, Hewlett-Packard, and Sun Microsystems; investment banking at Citigroup

and Fortistar Capital; and engineering at Motorola.  In his most recent role, Navneet was Assistant Treasurer at Sun Microsystems.  He has managed Sun's global working capital, debt, foreign exchange, capital structure, and stock plan services.

Navneet has won Alexander Hamilton awards for innovation and best practices in Treasury.  Navneet serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Corporate Treasury Management.  Navneet earned his MBA and Master of Engineering degrees from Cornell University.
