Prash is the Data Management Consultant at Global Shares.

A native of Kathmandu, Nepal he finished high school from Budhanilakantha School, the national school of Nepal. He won one of five Full International Merit Scholarships to The University of the South (Sewanee), Tennessee, and became the first Nepalese student to attend Sewanee. He graduated summa cum laude, with honors in economics alongside a minor in mathematics. He was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa his senior year. To further bolster his rigorous academic training, he attained an MS in Economics from the W.P. Carey School of business, Arizona, where he concentrated on doctorate courses in econometrics and quantitative business analysis.

Though new to the industry, Prash brings with him his extensive travel experiences, a deep understanding to different world cultures, and a truly global perspective—principles that Global Shares holds very dear to heart. His educational and personal pursuits have been catalyzed magnificently by his community service engagements to Ecuador, New York, and New Orleans, independent research in China, internship with the Nobel Prize winning Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, and working for the United Nations in Nepal.

In his free time, Prash likes to lift weights, run, and play squash. He is also a member of the Beta Theta chapter of Delta Tau Delta national fraternity.
