Patricia “Trisha” Boepple Joins Global Shares in West Cork as Vice President, Plan Administration
Trisha Boepple, one of the most experienced stock plan administration professionals with 25 years’ experience working with global plans, has joined Global Shares to head the Global Shares’ Administration Centre. Trish will be moving from California to the Global Shares’ West Cork Headquarters in late October. “I can’t think of anyone in the world who has the background and experience of Trisha. We are thrilled to have Trisha join the team and to bring her leadership and experience to our clients, especially during this time of heightened review and compliance” said Carine Schneider, who will be joining Global Shares as CEO on October 5, 2006. Trisha was formerly the Director of Global Equity Services at Accenture for 5 years, with over 80,000 equity program participants in 54 countries. Trisha joined Accenture two days before their IPO and was responsible for building a world class equity program operations team to handle their extremely complex and unique equity programs. She also directed the design and worked closely with the systems team in the development of the award winning employee equity website called myHoldings. Accenture received the GEO Award in 2006 for Best Use of Technology. Prior to Accenture, she was senior manager of stock programs at Applied Materials, Inc. from October 1997 through July 2001 where average ESPP participation rates were in the high 80% range. Trisha was responsible for implementing a different equity program system, developing proper controls and procedures, and assisting with the design and development of an employee equity website to support annual stock option grants to all Applied Materials employees in seventeen countries. Previously, she was with Amdahl Corporation for 16 years where she was responsible for Amdahl’s stock programs. She was also Amdahl’s Assistant Corporate Secretary and manager of legal administration for nine years. Trisha was one of the original members of the Stock Forum (later Equity Shareholder Services Association), the precursor to National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP). She was a founding member of the NASPP and is currently a member of NASPP’s Silicon Valley Chapter, and a member of Global Equity Organization (GEO). Ms. Boepple has also been a member of the Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals since 1989. “I’m very excited to join the team at Global Shares, who clearly show that they’re building an exciting company that will provide the quality and expertise that the corporate community expects from their service provider.
