5 Client Wins at GEO Industry Awards

GEO 5 Client wins | Global Shares

Global Shares congratulates our clients Generali, Grundfos and Sage, who took home a total of five awards from the Global Equity Organization Awards for 2020 and 2021.

Now in their 21st year, the GEO Awards are the global equity and executive compensation community’s prestigious Annual Awards, that celebrate the extraordinary achievements of individuals and teams working to deliver the very best in equity excellence for their employees.

The award-winning companies were honoured on November 10th at a virtually hosted ceremony, which was attended by the global GEO community, and paid tribute to the astonishing work achieved during the most challenging of times.

Global Shares’ client wins included:

1

Generali – Best Plan Communication 2020 (over 25,000 employees)

Generali was recognised for their integrated and comprehensive multi-channel ‘We Share’ ownership program materials, which include modelling and tool kits, are provided in 20 languages, and incentivise participant engagement using a gratis charitable donation.

Generali – Best in Financial Education 2021

Generali was recognised for providing year-round, on-demand education from senior leaders and stakeholders, as well as expert sources inside and outside the company, to provide on-going education and up-to-the-minute plan management on one accessible platform.

Generali – Best Use of a Share Plan in Support of Corporate Social Responsibility 2021

Generali’s first-of-a-kind share plan is simple to understand and encourages employees across the globe to help care for those most vulnerable in society. This clever and positive use of share plan may be the first of its kind and is certainly an innovative use of employee participation to drive social change.

Grundfos – Best Use of Share Plan in a Private Company 2021

Grundfos designed a share plan aimed at providing employees an opportunity to buy shares at three discounted levels, in multiple currencies and jurisdictions, so every employee, regardless of income, had a chance to participate in ownership.

Sage – Best Plan Communication 2020 (Between 5,000-25,000 employees)

The Sage Group successfully deployed a clever and comprehensive communications program that called employees to action using easy- to-access plan information with relatable headlines, common global themes, and provocative and compelling questions.

The GEO Awards are one of the most prestigious and popular achievements for the global equity industry. Hugely competitive, they position the winners as best-in-class and recognise companies that truly demonstrate leadership and dedication to their employee stock plans, all around the world. We are very proud to have three Global Shares clients named as GEO winners this year, scooping a total of five awards. Congratulations to Generali, Grundfos and Sage and everyone involved in this fantastic achievement! We look forward to continuing to support our clients and their award-winning share plans.
