We are delighted to share that we have moved up the Deloitte Technology Fast50™ Awards listing to position #16, adding a fourth consecutive win.  Now in their 21st year, the Deloitte Awards rank the country’s 50 fastest growing technology companies based on revenue growth over the last four years, as well as celebrate innovation in Ireland’s indigenous technology sector.

Our CEO, Tim Houstoun said: ‘We’re big fans of the Fast50™ Awards because they focus on growth – one of the earliest signals of how successful a company will be. We attribute our stellar growth over recent years to the re-launch of our business as a regulated fintech firm in 2015.”

Since 2015, we’ve become one of just three global providers in the employee ownership fintech space, we export to 100 countries and operate in the four largest economies in the world. This is our fourth consecutive year winning a Fast50™ Award, including the great honour we had to be crowned Deloitte’s ‘FinTech Company of the Year’ in 2017.

Tim added: “2020 has been a record-breaking year of revenue growth for us, despite all the implications of the pandemic all over the world. We hope to maintain our high growth ranking on the Fast50 list for many years to come. We’ve scaled our business organically, from West Cork to the world, and all of this growth has created a good news ripple effect. We recently announced 150 new jobs from our headquarters in Clonakilty, and we are on track to exceed a $1Bn ‘unicorn’ valuation by 2024”.

Congratulations to all the Fast50 companies this year – especially the overall winner – Cork-based company Everseen. Also, a particular well done to our fellow Munster-based Fast50 winners – Spearline®Zartisi3PT Certification, AspiraAsystec Limited, StudioForty9 and last year’s overall winner Electricity Exchange DAC. Together they account for 18% of the Fast50 list companies – and illustrate once again the stronghold of innovative technology that exists in the Munster and south of Ireland region.

David Shanahan, Partner, Deloitte said: “Irish tech companies have truly outdone themselves this year. It is inspiring to see the countless examples of companies who, over the last year, have demonstrated resilience, innovated, adapted and thrived in the face of uncertainty and new challenges.”
