Global Shares Celebrates 2 Client Wins at ProShare’s Annual Awards

Global Shares is happy to congratulate our clients Generali and Indivior on their success at the 2023 ProShare Awards, which took place in London in December.

The ProShare Annual Awards Dinner celebrates some of the very best in the employee share plan space and is the premier event in the industry’s calendar. It was a fabulous evening full of celebration hosted by Konnie Huq, famed as the longest-serving female presenter of the British children’s television programme Blue Peter. Global Shares was proud to partner with ProShare for a third year as the Awards Dinner Partner.

In total, awards were presented to 13 companies across 15 categories.

Global Shares’ client wins included:

Generali: Best New Share Plan

Generali’s award-winning We SHARE 2.0, is the second edition of Generali Share Plan developed exclusively for Generali Group employees. This enhanced  plan has innovative features that were specifically designed to be advantageous to Generali employees and therefore increase its effectiveness with respect to the new financial context.

The benefits of We SHARE 2.0 go beyond becoming a Generali Owner, offering participants a tangible way to advance towards shared goals that create sustainable value, and ProShare noted that “Generali’s ESG element around financial education is a stand out”. From ESG-aligned share allotment tied to their  “Commitment to Climate” target, to donating to The Human Safety Net Foundation, Generali’s international Foundation, Generali’s plan is designed to help build a better life for Generali’s employees and the communities they serve.

Indivior: Most Effective Communication of an Employee Share Plan (501-5,000 employees)

As the maturity date for Indivior’s 2019 ShareSave initiative neared at the end of 2022, Indivior realised they needed to implement a clear and engaging communication strategy to continue to support their employees following a share price increase.

To educate and help their employees to understand what this meant for them, Indivior created communication resources that were straightforward and accessible, providing all employees with details about everything, from tax obligations to risk and reward considerations. ProShare no doubt felt that this  strategy was a success. With Indivior reporting 100% participant attendance at town halls and an average score of 4.09 / 5 in feedback the award-winning plan was also  commended by ProShare for its exceptional audience engagement rates.

At Global Shares, we are proud to support our clients in achieving employee ownership and were honoured to be part of this prestigious evening. Well done to all the finalists and a huge congratulations to the winners on the night.
