Global Shares made TV, radio and news headlines twice last month, with extensive coverage of the company’s new Software, Expansion Plans and jobs announcements.

RTE news anchor Sharon Ni Bheolain presented two separate pieces about Global Shares on Primetime Six One News.

On April 17th, Richard Bruton TD – Irish Government Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation – visited Global Shares Headquarters for the launch of the company’s new software and to welcome the announcement of 80 new jobs.  The news was broadcast across news sites, radio, social media and press.

On April 29th, RTE returned to Global Shares to film an excellent follow-up feature.

Global Shares Marketing Manager Aisling Riordan spoke about our Headquarters at the West Cork Technology Park, which has created 1,000 high-skilled jobs for the region:

Our Portuguese Software Engineers – Felipe Proenca, Pedro Gomes and Joao Freitas –  were interviewed about how they enjoy living and working in beautiful West Cork – kind neighbours, good ‘craic’ (fun) on nights out and the high quality of life for families.
